Fees and Insurance

Dr. Regedanz’s standard fee is $150/hr for a 50 minute therapy hour. For your convenience, she is able to process credit card payments on the day of appointments.

Dr. Regedanz makes a commitment to honor scheduled appointments and request that her clients extend the same courtesy. Clients have the opportunity to notify her of problems with making scheduled appointments. As is customary, Dr. Regedanz’s policy is to charge for late cancellations and non-appearance.

Be aware that insurance companies require a diagnosis which will then become a part of your medical record. If you have health insurance plans with mental health benefits, call your insurance company to find out your specific benefits. You can also use a Flexible Spending Account, offered by many employers, to cover any amount that was not covered by your health plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

• Do I have mental health benefits?
• What is my deductible, and has it been met?
• How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network therapy session?
• Do I need pre-authorization before beginning therapy?

Dr. Regedanz can provide a monthly statement which you can submit to your insurance company for your reimbursement. It is your responsibility to pay initial session fees.
